Thursday, August 6, 2015. So last night was the monthly beekeepers meeting at the Garfield Park Conservatory. Marcin is the new head beekeeper there and wanted to start a local bee keeping group. This was the second meeting and was very informative. Elanor Schumacher is an Illinois State Apiary Inspector. And was in Chicago inspecting the hives at the Conservatory, so stayed behind to give us a presentation and generally answer any questions we may have. And her view on their ef.
